In the fall of 1996 concerns arose about Bell Canada offices in Hamilton because measurements had shown that electromagnetic field levels in the building were elevated. Extensive press and television media coverage of the matter developed rapidly.
RHSC consulted with the reporters and staff covering the story and provided an on-camera interview for the evening news program discussing the possible risks and concerns with a labour union representative.
